SJVS Choir
 

Singers wanted!

Students at SJVS who love to sing are encouraged to join us in song!
 We have 3 choirs, each with a unique purpose.

Christmas Choir – sings for the Annual SJVS Christmas Pageant. Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays, in November, and December. Open to students in 3^rd – 8^th grade. 
 
Concert Choir – Thursdays, from 2:30 – 4:00 pm SJV Concert Choir sings for school liturgies, prayer services and performs at various school functions throughout the school year. Concert Choir learns more advanced vocal arrangements and students will be placed into vocal groups by range. They will be challenged to learn harmonies and multi-part performance pieces. Concert Choir sings for the 2^nd Grade Christmas Pageant and performs a short concert prior to the Pageant in the evening.
 Concert Choir is open to students in 4^th – 8^th grade.  
 
St John Vianney Parish Children’s Choir - Open to all children of St. John Vianney Parish School and CCD students in 2^nd – 8^th grade.  Parish Children’s Choir sings select Sundays at the 10:00 am mass. Rehearsals are held the Tuesday prior from 4-5 pm in the church with Mr. Frame, our Parish Music Director, and Mrs. Murray, SJVS Music.
