Saint John Vianney School provides current and educationally appropriate technology tools for the students, faculty, parents, and administrators. 

SJV is fully connected with a local area network throughout the school as well as wireless connectivity with Internet access and networked printers to meet the educational needs of students and teachers. Saint John Vianney provides 1:1 Chromebooks for all students in Grades K-8 as we strive to fully integrate educational technology into all subject areas. Classroom sets of iPads are utilized by teachers in the SJV Preschool and all classrooms are equipped with Promethean boards or interactive whiteboards for instructional use.  A full-time Computer Science teacher instructs the students and supports the technology needs of faculty and administration.  

Saint John Vianney has joined with many schools throughout the country in utilizing Google Workspace for Education for our email service and productivity software. Google Workspace for Education and Google Classroom provide a variety of cloud-based services that are used by teachers, staff, and students for documents, spreadsheets, and presentations, as well as classroom management and communication.  Teachers use a variety of resources and methods to integrate technology into their lessons, such as online tutorials and educational websites, conducting research, and participating in hands-on interactive assignments. The school uses various web-based programs such as Reflex Math, Moby Max and Discovery Education. These programs provide instruction, practice, assessment, and reports on each individual student's progress and work completed. A full time technology coordinator is available to assist teachers in exploring and managing the constantly changing world of educational technology.

The online “PowerSchool” web application is used by school administration and teachers to record and communicate student information with parents.  It automates critical functions such as attendance, scheduling, classroom grading, and reporting. Student information is available when needed, anywhere, anytime.
