"God's Loving Light Shines Through Us and Our Actions"
One of the most important qualities of Saint John Vianney School is that it is truly a Catholic school. The spirituality of students, parents, administration, faculty, and staff is at the forefront of all that is done. Each day starts with a communal group prayer. Mass is regularly celebrated as a community to pray for the needs of the school community and the needs of others. Sacraments are celebrated together as a community, and the community of Saint John Vianney School lives their faith by participating in social projects and by sharing time, talents, and treasures with others. While acknowledging everyone is on their own individual faith journey, Saint John Vianney truly exemplifies how these paths come together and how the foundation of the Catholic faith embodies all that is done to better themselves and the community.
Perhaps the greatest success of Saint John Vianney School is the students. Saint John Vianney School students are regularly recognized for excellence in a variety of fields including academics, writing, arts, athletics, and community service. Graduates consistently are accepted into their first-choice school. Students are recognized not only within the school but also locally and nationally through academic and athletic competitions and contests. The many sports teams sponsored by the school serve as evidence that students are interested in and committed to athletics and fitness.
Saint John Vianney School and students care for and nurture not only those within their walls but the surrounding community as well. All students regularly participate in community service activities. In preparation for Confirmation, seventh and eighth-grade students must complete community service hours.
